Tuna caught fishing with connecticut charter fishing

 

All tackle is provided by your captain. Bring your own food, drink and several bags of ice for your fillets.

Rain gear and warm clothing are recommended for all fishing trips regardless of the time of year.

Hats and sunscreen are suggested to protect you from the sun. Cameras and film are also suggested.

A $200 deposit is required for an inshore trip and a $600 deposit is required for an offshore trip. A mate will be available for a 15% gratuity or you may filet your own fish if you wish and are capable. If we fish without a mate the captain will filet your catch for a 10% gratuity.

Deposits will be refunded only if the trip is cancelled by the captain and a new date cannot be arranged. If an offshore trip is an unsafe probability, then the trip must be taken inshore at inshore rates.

Responsible beer and wine drinking is permitted and of course no illegal drugs allowed. No glass containers please.

 

 

2008 RATES

large striped bass

All rates are for up to six (6) passengers.

Five (5) hour inshore Striped Bass, Blues or Fluke $550

Seven (7) hour inshore Striped Bass, Blues or Fluke $725**

Ten (10) hour Bass/Blues or Fluke $975

Five (5) hour inshore Evening or Night Striped Bass (Bait included) $600

Twelve (12) hour offshore Tuna or Shark $1850*

Fourteen (14) hour offshore Tuna $2100*

Overnight offshore Canyon $3600*


*Bait included.

** Seven (7) hour trips can include Block Island or Montauk for an additional $80.00

Expenses may increase due to higher than expected fuel rates.

To New London, Connecticut:
From route 95, take exit 82, which is Route 85 or Broad Street. Go south on route 85 to the second or third (depending if you were going north or south on 95) traffic light. Turn right onto Colman Street. Go to the end of Colman Street and turn left onto Bank Street. Go to the fifth (5th) traffic light and turn right onto Howard Street. (The street sign is currently missing from this direction.) Go 3/10’s of a mile, passing Crocker’s Boat Yard, to Hamilton Street. Turn left onto Hamilton Street and follow into Capt Scott’s Lobster Dock. The boat is located right behind the picnic tables.
